What You’ll Do at Pomona Berries
The Applied Research Agricultural Manager is a berry-specialized agronomist with experience in field management and/or technical advisory services. This role works closely with internal R&D initiatives and collaborates with commercial and production teams to ensure optimal performance across berry operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute all berry field management activities.
Establish and coordinate internal advanced selections and trials of new berry varieties.
Implement cutting-edge technologies to monitor, evaluate, and resolve technical issues related to berry crop management.
Regularly report research and field results to the corresponding internal teams.
Collaborate in the review and preparation of materials for marketing and training purposes.
Work with external partners to develop studies related to priority areas within the research and development program.
What You Bring to Pomona Berries
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in berry field management.
Proven experience working with and leading multidisciplinary teams.
